I don’t know if you are interested in a considered answer now, Bmw-Rider, after more than twelve hours of “Chatter”, but if you are here goes:

Magistrates’ sentencing guidelines (for England and Wales – I think they are the same in Scotland) only cover speeds up to 100mph in a 60mph zone. For that speed the recommended penalty is a fine of half a...

Sorry I went to make a brew and stopped being critical towards the OP, I'm back now and can resume my condemnation of his attitude/actions if you like but like craft points out, they're obviously not interested in hearing them and so I'll refrain, for now.
Do the rules only apply at weekend

There has been a fair bit of fighting on here recently. I think everyone is tired of it. I certainly am.

Please remember the following:

This site is bigger than Chatterbank.

In sections outside of Chatterbank please do not "chat".

Do not derail other's Questions. Try to answer the question. Post on topic.

Do not demand someone else explain something to you - especially if they didn't assert what you're asking them to explain.

Don't dredge up the past. No one else cares. It is very boring for those not involved in personal spats. Take it to the car-park if you must, one in Siberia preferably (don't arrange it here).

If you think someone is being indirectly nasty to you, report it, but explain with precise detail how this is. We simply don't have time to keep up with it all. Be clear and concise in your reports about bullying.

This obviously doesn't apply to all of you. There will be a few of you who are thinking: "Yes, not me, it is those others I always end up in a slagging match with."

If you've just thought this then I am talking to you in particular.

Anyone who attempts to turn any thread into a forum for personal attacks this weekend will be suspended.

All the best,

Spare Ed

Aqualung - did you see my earlier comment and link on this thread?
is that this coming weekend or one later in the month?
I refer to my earlier answer
lilsecret i have seen it in the papers before i love the way he says

"I was travelling from my home to a business meeting on a clear A-road and I was unaware of my speed."
dotty if you had looked at the date you would see it was from last weekend

oh dear, the BMW-Rider has been suspended. Wonder if that is a technical suspension or has the user used a dormant ID?
You could say ,you are in the RAF and you thought the Runway was coming to an end!
Do you think that he has a chance Doc.
Aqualung, I know, I read it last weekend, it does not cover outright condemnation for abject stupidity though.

Aqualung - this is what might happen - hopefully.

They would never get rid of you Doc, best film producer this side of the Tower.
night doc, you're allowed an opinion like everyone else as long as it is on topic and sticks to the facts, fact is this BMW-Rider has openly asked what might happen, as far as I was concerned what might happen is that he gets a great deal of negative criticism and gets insulted and told exactly what people think, he did ask.

lilsecret if he got 6 months ban for a car this person will get about a 3 year ban and a big fine for being on a bike.
