As you are no doubt aware, on this date 30 years ago we were waking up to the news that Freddie had died. Throughout today, in memory of his brilliance, i will be posting music by Queen. And where better to begin than at the beginning;

The blonde in that video is Debbie Leng who was, at that particular time, holding hands with the very lucky Roger Taylor.

They were together 15 years and she had 3 kids by him.

My youngest daughter had piano lessons and we went to a concert for piano and organ one Christmas.
One of the young girls played a fabulous version of Radio Ga Ga on a superb organ with all the sound effects.
It impressed me so much I asked my daughter if she would like to learn to play the organ and we would exchange our piano for an organ.
She jumped at the chance, but it came on condition that she had to learn how to play Radio Ga Ga, and she did.
