As you are no doubt aware, on this date 30 years ago we were waking up to the news that Freddie had died. Throughout today, in memory of his brilliance, i will be posting music by Queen. And where better to begin than at the beginning;

And now that i've heard BoRap again, i'm not so sure about my fav Queen song :-))

Regarding BoRap, on that documentary the other night, Eric Hall appeared to be claiming the credit for getting it played on the radio. Yet i've always believed it was Kenny Everett who first gave it air-time. In fact, he played it 14 times in one weekend. Then Radio 1 played it.

The Show Must Go On is one of two Queen songs to be played at my funeral - the other being These Are The Days Of Our Lives. Mr Zimmerman will be supplying the 3rd song :-)
Question Author
I've always known it to be by the late Kenny 'Sid Snot' Everett, as most of the band often seen saying so. Eric Hall is... well... Eric Hall.

Ah, heard it loads of times, but think that's the first time i've seen the video.
This verse Pixie:

There goes my baby
She knows how to rock-n-roll
She drives me crazy
She gives me hot and cold fever
She leaves me in a cool, cool sweat Elvis Impression
Oh, of course! And, thanks x

Not gonna feel much like a champion when i'm in that oven :-))))
The Show Must Go On because my children should get on with their lives after i'm deposited on the top of Pendle Hill. Just hope it's not blowing a gale as i stand a chance of being blown into Yorkshire:-(
Not sure if anyone has posted this one, and while I know it has been overplayed and ruined by Wayne's World lol, I still remember the first time I ever heard it.

Wasn't Freddie's only attempt at impersonation. Remember his amusing impersonation of Marlene Dietrich in The Millionaire Waltz? :-)
Just tried that 8-Bit version of ADATR, Tie your Mother down ... still laughing.
