APG, I think you may be wasting your time, the only time some folk see sheep is in a field when on holiday, the only other time they may pay attention is when its gone missing off the supermarket shelf, I hope then you realise its your fault, regardless of the elements. :0)
I'm afraid that farming and farmers have, and always will be taken for granted, and yet they are battling against the weather all year round, with very few complaints. But the complaints will fly in should that veg not be on the supermarket shelf just waiting to be picked up. A big percentage of folk who have had their homes flooded, can still shut the front door and turn up for work, the farmer is stuck with weeks of problems, big losses and greatly reduced income in the coming weeks/months.
