I have voted in every General Election for the past sixty years and not once has my vote counted because of our first past the post system. Until we get proportional representation it seems I shall miss out - unless I move house ...... or party!

Pixie274, what do you mean? Questions aren't jsut removed from The Answerbank, they must have broken a rule. It's easy to ask someone a question without breaking Site Rules.

"TD, Are all the people on Twitter your age and how would you know that?"

The ones I follow are, and because I chose to follow them and because I went to school with the majority of them
I do, TD, as you well know... !
TD//The ones I follow are, and because I chose to follow them and because I went to school with the majority of them//
So as far as you know only a relatively small number are voting Labour.
Question Author
Then you should appeal. If an answer is removed I may not see it to be able to respond.
What made you choose to follow them in the first place?
TD, Have you an answer to my post at 15.20?

"So as far as you know only a relatively small number are voting Labour."

No, because the hashtags are still trending.

There is no evidence of the age of voters who have used the hashtag, but the majority of my peers have expressed that they are voting labour because they either, want to topple the tories or because they honestly want a labour government.

There is only one person who I follow on twitter who has expressed a desire to not vote labour. Their reason for this was corbyn.

I am talking about my peers, not the entire populas.
Don't pretend, TD. You know as well as I do what you have admitted you are up to.
So, are you following people whose politics you agree with, who are a similar age... what do you decide on?
Question Author
"So what ! I am in my eighties and I certainly know which shoe goes on which foot. Your remark smacks of ageism."

I was taught to respect my elders not mock them for getting mixed up with their shoes.
He's floundering Pixie.

"So, are you following people whose politics you agree with, who are a similar age... what do you decide on?"

No, as I mentioned I am not voting Labour.
Question Author
"He's floundering Pixie."

Not at all. My comments are here to re-read until the end of time.
As ever, Danny...
TD, you implied that she had put on the wrong shoe due to her age.I repeat that smacks of ageism.
Question Author
I guess it is ageism.
Question Author
It could be a political message

-For the many not the shoe
-Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot
-Get out and vote whatever the cost
Question Author
Maybe she's just trying to show us how far left she would walk for us.
Question Author
I'm unsure what you're getting at Pixie374?

That would indicate you raised the issue, the issue was looked into, and it was decided action wasn't necessary.

Look, accept the result an move on. We can't keep having more and more referendums! ;-P
Lol... no, fair enough... I might trust you again sooner or later. The truth always outs! Xx
