Can agree with much of that. But the water has been being heated for ages, in many different areas of life/society, and folk fall for it and actually support it.

I wasn't an anti-vaxer, I had the 2 jabs, had a stroke, & am now a convinced anti-vaxer, I wouldn't have dreamt of having it if I had known then what I know now & so are millions of others.
are you sure that your stroke was caused by your vaccines?
How can he be sure? If it's a coincidence, it's an odd one - but if it isn't it wouldn't be sensible to do it again. Only Khandro can make that judgement.

//are you sure that your stroke was caused by your vaccines?//

Sans hésitation !
it’s not about his private choices… he’s choosing to go around saying that he’s an anti-vaxer because he had a stroke after getting one… one could argue that is dangerous.

old people (55 and over) are unfortunately significantly more at risk of getting strokes
Untitled, Of course it's about his private choices. If he thinks it could kill him he has every right to choose not to take that chance.
And one could argue not discussing it and throwing it straight out the window is also dangerous?
but calling yourself an “anti-vaxxer” means you don’t want other people to get it either… which is arguably dangerous misinformation if it’s based purely on one old man suffering a stroke
Khandro hasn't said he doesn't want other people to have the vaccine. Because of his experience he, personally, is now an anti-vaxxer. What you choose to read into that is up to you.
if someone feels the vaccine is not right for them personally that is a whole different thing from agitating against vaccines because you personally don’t want to get it

that is what an anti-vaxer is
a person who is chilled about other people getting vaccinated is by definition not an anti vaxxer
He's not 'agitating' against the vaccine. He said he won't have it again.

Actually, it has quite an awful effect on me - I had to sign a 'disclaimer' for my second jab - so I'm still dithering about whether to have it again.
doesn’t sound like you’re an anti-vaxxer naomi…

khandro called himself one not me
Untitled, do stop arguing over nothing. Khandro isn't having any more Covid jabs. That doesn't warrant pedantic nit-picking.
I'm not an anti-vaxxer - but I might become one. I've yet to decide if I want to put myself through being that poorly again.
i’m not nit picking i just think it’s self-centered and a bit. dangerous to call yourself an anti-vaxxer because you happened to have a stroke
You think it's self-centred to avoid something you feel was responsible for causing a stroke? You can't possibly be serious. At least I hope you're not serious. That's crazy! Do you know what a stroke is and what effect it's likely to have?
yes
i also think it's irresponsible to go around saying that vaccines cause them with zero scientific evidence
Then you're crazy, untitled. No one in their right mind would choose to repeat something that they believed caused them to suffer a dangerously life threatening reaction.
