I am not a DM reader but saw this on the Mathew Wright programme when I came in from the Dentist
Were they right to go and tell the Cafe owner they would arrest him?

You may have heard it but there was no need to repeat that disgusting quote on Answerbank.
I am sorry that you find it disgusting.

I am sure that you have reported me.

Rather amusing since you seem to come out with 'disgusting' remarks - I think my favourite remains (when a lady had just lost a child) "but she can have another one....., but still, as someone on here said earlier, some people like to read the Daily Mail and find a reason to be disgusted at anything.

Nice to see that somethings never change.

AOG, sorry , been out all day,
I said about not being a DM reader myself because I personally believe it sensationalizes a lot, that said, I am always happy to join in such debates it throws up :-)
it certainly vomits a lot
No, but why would anyone go there, even with the sound turned down.
Lancs Police could be on dodgy ground here if using Sec 29

In 2005 the same force, 'Lancashire Constabulary', paid out £10,000 compensation to Joe and Helen Roberts, an elderly Christian couple who had been investigated by the police for telling their council that they didn’t agree with homosexuality.

//Does all this mean that the bible has to be re-written ? //

That was the point I was making Doc. However offensive people may find it - and the bible contains plenty more to be offended by - the bible carries no censorship, so I don't see how it can be against the law to show text on a screen.

Thank you Doc. We do indeed. ;o)
I am surprised anyone goes in the cafe with that playing in the background all the time.
There's a time and a place for everything, but not while having a cuppa. Do they say Grace over the scones I wonder.
If I went into this cafe, it wouldn't bother me - I'd probably find it amusing.

tbh ayg, I had no idea Christian Cafes existed,
so you must go in there, get a coffee/tea and read literature whilst seeing a DVD?
bit OTT I think
