What happened to the USSR and Yugoslavian bloc countries jno - civil wars - still going on to this day when they collapsed. Can you see this happening to the EU? Bloc countries have never worked and never will, people have a funny habit of wanting their own national identity.

Graham, I believe it is in the Lisbon treaty that any nation leaving the union would still be allowed free trade rights - I suppose they could scupper that if it were to happen - then we could see what sort of a dictatorship it has become -as would all the surviving members.
