Was it just me or did I hear , on the rolling news channel BBC, the reader refer to the 'arrival of the Prince and Princess of Wales.' yesterday.
About time too, I thought, and hope they won't be mealy mouthed about calling her Queen when the time comes...

I too was never a great fan of Saint Diana. Charles and camilla are much better suited to each other, and I, for one, WILL refer to her as Queen when the time comes. And for all those who that the succession should pass to Willam, this isn't some Hollywood production. Assuming Charles outlives his mother, then he will be King, whether peeps like it or not.

// and if you aren't going to be faithful then don't fluffing well get married. //
Yes well heirs to the throne don't have the same choice as you or I em
There are laws involved.
Maybe he'd have been better abdicating like his great uncle
At least Edward didn't end up being forced to marry a self-obsessed manipulative, neurotic passive-agressive
"It was very crowded in that marriage" <bats eyelids, looks out of the side of her eyes> - And CUT!

"Ed Charlie admitted his adultery on the programme with Dimbleby..."
I've never believed anything he's said :)
"had Charles stuck to his marriage vows then none of what followed would have happened"
I'm not entirely sure if you could guarantee that?
I don't really have a position on this (I didn't know there was really one to take!), I've just found the condemnation a bit much - especially as I know so little about it.
As others have said, everyone involved was probably a human being who should be cut a little slack...

em - I don't think he had any option. Diana was picked out for him. I believe she had to have a physical examination to make sure she could give us some little heirs to the throne. It was also suggested, I believe, although to be honest I can't remember for sure, that she had to be a virgin, although I find that hard to believe especially if she hung about that court.
