These have been going on up and down the country this weekend despite various 'anti'facist' groups trying to stir things up. It seems to me that if you are against these tribute marches by the EDL then you must be in support of the murderers.

LG Eh??????
What part of LazyGun's post didn't you understand?
I was about to ask the same thing.
I thought LG's post was very easy to understand.
the EDL have their own agendas, and it would seem that many people, including Lee Rigby's family don't want them using his hideous death as an excuse for rioting, and causing harm to those who haven't done anything wrong. They are not acting for me, nor anyone i know, they are indeed doing more harm than good.
All of it - didn't make sense to me.

Oh and while I'm on, just before I go and get the tea on. The EDL haven't murdered anyone and if the pieces of filth who murdered that young solider aren't inciting racial hatred, I DON'T KNOW WHO IS !!!

OK with you ummm and AH ??!!!

Not bothered if it isn't actually .....

Good for you daffy!
the only thing i don't agree with is various religious Imams are citing the two men who murdered the young man have a mental illness, sorry don't buy that in a month of sunday's.

Nice debating style

I trust you aren't expecting to have impressed anyone with the strength and intelligence of your argument
em.....

\\\\the only thing i don't agree with is various religious Imams are citing the two men who murdered the young man have a mental illness\\\

I have a certain amount of sympathy for that view and you can bet your "bottom dollar" that that will also be the view of defense counsel.
you mean Fridays, em?

They could be mentally ill; their actions seem irrational, to put it mildly. Still, I'm no expert. Are you?
Sqad, if I were one of the defence counsel, I'd be pushing for a declaration of mental illness (though my client would be within his rights to object and fire me).
/the young man have a mental illness, sorry don't buy that in a month of sunday's. /

em

about anybody?

or just these two?

if so, why particularly these two? Do you have access to their psychiatric reports?
It was hardly a sane act!
jno, damn sight more experience than you, and i don't believe these two men are mentally ill, they are two skewed thinking Islamic fundamentalists, who killed a young man just because he was a soldier, targeted specifically. The Imams are trying to find any old excuse to excuse their vile act. Can you say the same for the men who planted bombs on our streets 7/7, were they mentally ill, no they weren't
Dave50, completely wonky logic. The EDL don’t represent the majority who are genuinely appalled by this barbaric slaughter – and the EDL aren’t paying tribute – they’re using it for their own political ends. Disgraceful!

Andy-Hughes,// it is simply the fact that he has been murdered by two men of questionable sanity under the guise of their interperetation [sic] of Islamic faith.//

Unfortunately this slaughter wasn’t committed ‘under the guise of their interpretation of Islamic faith’. This is what they – and many others – are being indoctrinated with by other people who are easily able to justify their disgusting philosophy - and ambitions - through Islamic literature. I’ve no doubt that the murderers, like their teachers, are quite sincere in their convictions. Let’s just hope that when the time comes, the judge is equally as sincere in his!
It seems to me you are very wrong. Lee Rigby's family has clearly said he n would not want his murder to be used as an excuse to attack others.

as to the the family of the young soldier why would they want any organisation like EDL speak for them, i know i wouldn't.
I asked about expertise, not experience. Are you qualified to judge someone on the basis of news reports?
