If this is not demeaning towards white women as well as being blatantly racist I do not know what is.

Alternatively - they simply might not agree with you?
i don;t for the most part think we do.
I'm not offended nor demeaned, I am as a 'lady' feeling somewhat patronised by you though AOG!

"Fighting in support of my femininity"??? If only I understood what you meant but my silly blonde head is full of thoughts about fluffy kittens and flowers.

/// i didn't and don't find the photos appalling, it just is, i tell you what is appalling is how many women are raped, sexually assaulted, battered and killed on a weekly, daily basis in Britain, that is more something to get angry about. ///

Yes that goes without saying, but that is just diversionary, and are subjects for other debates when such appalling situations come to light
aog - "Obviously unlike you, I have never classed the ladies on Answerbank as 'shrinking violets' ..."

Neither have I - it's not a view I hold, so that's why I didn't say it.

My point was - I believe that the AB ladies feel that this is a matter of indifference, and not worth getting involved - and that is a universe away from being 'shrinking violets' - wouldn't you agree?
Well, I as another 'Lady' don't find it offensive - have seen far worse and likely will again.

His point of view and his choice how to portray it, willing models to assist - nothing wrong at all.
I agree with Eccles and Mamy.
Me too.
Eccles please put down that fluffy but cute kitten and get back to the kitchen!!
///I agree with Eccles and Mamy. ///

Me too!

What did they say.......?
Same as all the ladies have said from the beginning of the thread. It's NOT offensive.
What are you on about AOG?
Are you trying to make out a woman has no say in anything or that they make bad choices or summet?

He says he's white and the body stockings are not too convincing (a rushed purchase perhaps). Didn't you notice?

Women do have a mind of their own and always decide who they want to be with and do ask guys out too and I'm sure she's seen those lab glasses before she decided she wanted to be his scarf.

/// You are so out of touch with reality, AOG! ///

That is your opinion, I have opinions of my own gathered from many years of what I see going off all around me, whereas others find it beneficial to bury their heads in the sand, if it opposes their rather narrow political views.
Still swimming against the tide I see AOG.
I much prefer a black/asian women to a white one, I always have since I was a teenager!

I am now getting rather tired of going around defending those who at this moment have decided not to be offended.

All that remains to be said is the fact that some of you hold very strange standards, and run hot and cold on certain subject matter especially if your truly has decided to create a debate on it.

When will they decide that they are once again offended, perhaps if a Tory has tweaked a raw nerve in them, or perhaps if the Daily Mail has dared to portray a scanty clad female, or it might even be some right-wing ABer's avatar that offends them, who knows?

What a fickle world we live in.
AOG - "I am now getting rather tired of going around defending those who at this moment have decided not to be offended."

If you choose to 'defend' people who are indifferent to the issue at hand, then that is your choice, but you can hardly then be annoyed when they don't appreciate your uninvited efforts.

The answer is simple - save yourself the time and trouble of 'defending' a section of the AB who are more than capable of punching their weight if, and when they feel inclined - which in this instance, they clearly do not.
Guess what??! I don't find scantily clad women offensive either.
AOG: 'So I will now bring this to a close.'
