JJ - My post was absolutely not aimed at you - you have taken in the arguments against your original view and changed your mind - which is far from unprecedented on here, despite that assertion.
I think the point about debate is that people may have their original view altered, and there is nothing wrong with that, or advising that it has happened.
Others however are uniformly quick to condemn people's mistakes and bad decisions, which I think is difficult to do, since we are all prone to the same in our lives.

Sorry retro....I was just doing a drink....Mamya supplied link ( Thanks Mamya x )
If you're on the A27 get off at Devils Dyke junction, follow signs and it is about 2 miles down....you pass numerous golf courses on way down....careful where road narrows in, as only one car will fit in there, but you can reverse into a spot thats wider simply enough...and the pubs at the end of the road....lovely picnic/walking/just chillin' spot :-)

PankySmooch - //Gotta laugh at andy hughes the melt, as per usual wading in all guns blazing like he's the expert on everything and then doing an amazing *** kissing U turn //
Not sure what a 'melt' is ....
I did not make any kind of U turn - my post was not aimed at JJ - she thought it was, I corrected her impression.
When you've been on here as long as some of us, you will realise that such misunderstandings are a common factor in written-only communication - and when you read the meanings that others read, instead of 'wading in all guns blazing ...' as your mixed metaphor would have it, you will understand what's going on, and not be quite to quick on the attack.
Something to think about ...

PankySmooch - //Of course it was aimed at her, you just didn't want to be the only one having a go at her so you quickly did a U turn. //
I think I would know better than you whom my post was aimed at, don't you? It was not aimed at JJ - and I have cleared that up with her, so it's really not relavent to keep the point going is it?
//Naomi was right about you yesterday, you think you know everything but you don't. //
I am not going to barter rudeness with you - I have explained my actions, the matter is now closed.

divebuddy - //Paul Gascoigne; football legend, alcoholic and wife beater. What's not to like? //
Mr Gascoigne has never struck me as a likeable person.
I found his immature behaviour to be infantile, and probably only tolerated in the 'laddish' culture of pro footballers. Obviously his catalogued incidents of assault do not endear him to anyone, but I do find his increasing mental instability to be an issue that deserves sympathy, rather than hostility or ridicule - but that is entirely a personal view.
