Personally, I would prefer to see this photo which is nice, than the official ones of him in daft clothes.
lovleeee!
Gromit - so would I, but who is the person with George? Are they signed up to have their image plastered all over the world's media? Probably not, and that is where the privacy issue starts to bite.
agree Andy..everyone needs a bit privacy..gawd you (hopefully) will never see my candid snaps
Isn't that Kate with him ?
Andy-Hughes

That is the Keeper of the Royal Toy Car Collection.
Are you decrying 'Market Forces' then TTT ?
AH,

Seriously, they are not complaining about Royal staff having their photographs taken, that is a occupational hazard of the job.
4 ruddy tractors, that's probably more than on GrandDad's farm......
They have a right not to feel violated whenever they step outside with their children, can't be pleasant to worry constantly that there are paparazzi following them. The more covert ones sound downright creepy.

If there was a someone covertly taking photos of small children generally from the boot of their car, would it be seen as acceptable? I don't think so and shouldn't be any different due to a birth right.

Having now grown up in a media glare, I imagine it must be very uncomfortable for Kate and, of course, given the circumstances of his mother's death, for William too.

They seem happy to release approved photographs and seem generous with the public on engagements and with the children. They don't deserve such intrusion.
well said Eve
The person covertly taking that grainy picture from a long way away could quite easily have something else in their hands and this child has armed guards, cue a potential incident.
exactly ! scary
