Togo - "Debate is the word umm. If we do not agree with a point do we say nothing until we feel the weight of argument is counter to what we think, rather than be judged as bullies by self appointed adjudicators?"
Debate is indeed the word, but ummmm is absolutely correct – over the last few months there has been a sustained and vitriolic attack on both my opinions, and on me personally, including sustained personal abuse which cannot by any stretch be referred to as ‘debate’.
There are no ‘self-appointed adjudicators’ on here – there are moderators who are judged to be experienced and mature and impartial enough to assist with policing the site when the ED and staff are not on line – but they are not ‘self-appointed’.
Hope that helps.

Togo - "aog they should be locked up and the minors taken into care. But the social workers and the judiciary are looking for more lucrative targets who will offer less resistance."
Wow, are we back on the thread again?
There’s a novelty!!
I understand that the two have been jailed for a year, and banned from any contact with this child ever again.
I also understand that they are to be banned from teaching for life.

DaisyNonna - "Suspended jail term? No way. They have clearly broken the law and will continue to do so if they are not removed."
You may not be aware, but the two men have been jailed for a year, and will be banned from teaching for life.
Sadly, that will not prevent them from carrying on abusing children in the mosque behind closed doors.
