It's an odd inference that middle class people are allowed to smoke cannabis. They are only able to do it if they do it in secret, and don't get caught.

If he does have a secret smoke, then he is in EXACTLY the same position as the so-called middle class people.

Actually, maybe it's unfair to call her a bit thick.

Perhaps she is a highly intelligent lady who thinks that she can sneak ridiculous non sequiturs past the public because she thinks it is we who are a bit thick.

In which case, she's just patronising.

If yes, then why are other ways of getting inebriated forbidden?

On the flipside, if legalising cannabis brings in extra revenue, won't it all get eaten up treating the paranoia cases or the fallout from the things they do?
