Mikey, //as a Tory voter, you must be very disappointed and frustrated that our new Tory Government has gone tits up, in less that a year. //
Your facade has slipped yet again. What a delightful turn of phrase! But that aside, hardly a failed government - (I presume that's what you meant). You couldn't be fair if you tried - but then you never try.

Naomi....but its my opinion that this IS a failed Government....
Defeated in the HOL, more than once, on important issues...an Budget now in tatters, with a big black hole in Osborne's finances, a PM who has made a complete dogs breakfast of what should have been simple explanation of his families money affairs, and a resignation of a prominent and important Minister.
Of course, it could get worse I suppose....Dave could lose the referendum in a few weeks time !
Now I don't expect you to agree with me....after all its a Government that you voted for, but its my opinion and I'm sticking to it !

It's not so much what he did , as it was not illegal just morally wrong. It is the fact that he tried to wiggle out of it for days before finally having to confess. If he had just immediately admitted what he did and pointed out that it was not illegal, this would be virtually forgotten by now, and furthermore he would have been given credit for his honesty. It was the days of telling half truths and attempting to avoid questions that was his undoing.
