David Cameron admitted, four days after the initial leak, that he owned shares in the tax haven investment fund, Blairmore Holdings Inc, which he sold in January 2010 for £31,500.

This is at odds with his 'we are all in this together' mantra.

His credibility is affected by this.

Wrong sp. His credibility was shot once and for all, when he promised to negotiate a fair and acceptable agreement with the puppet masters in Brussels, or to put his weight behind the leave campaign. He did neither. The conservative middle ground will not forget or forgive him. Their wrath is indeed terrible. If the press thought that the majority still supported him they would have been much less revealing of his financial machinations. He is dead man walking.

Too true. It was Brexit promises that cooked his goose some time back plus trying to convince us that he had actually achieved significant concessions when he got us SFA
Although the PM Holds a position of trust, is everyone on here innocent of deception of one source or another throughout their life's?

I think the point is - the rest of us don't lecture others on tax avoidance schemes, whilst holding funds squirrelled away in tax havens.
Well said SP !
Never fear though, George say's that he's 'Never Had Any Offshore Shareholdings' !

That is ruddy marvelous Tony.

.....so, instead perhaps he can now tell us where he is going to get that £4bn that he is missing from his failed and discredited Budget instead !
SP, //the rest of us don't lecture others on tax avoidance schemes, whilst holding funds squirrelled away in tax havens.//

At the risk of sounding like a parrot - he didn't. He sold his shares years ago. By the way, I hope that pension that you're so proud to be contributing to is doing well because I'd hazard a guess that you, together with many of the 'knitters' here will be benefitting from tax avoidance schemes sooner or later. ;o)
