When Does The Fight-Back Start?
With so many innocent people killed in the space of a fortnight, now including an 86-year-old priest in his own church by Islamists, how far does this have to go before society starts to retaliate?
I suggest 'corporate responsibility'; that for each of these atrocities done in the name of Islam, 5 percent of mosques are closed down.

But It does make you wonder what sort of life someone has had who hasn’t got 9/11 and the aftermath imprinted on their brain. That image of the planes hitting the buildings, Blair, Bush and Aznar, weapons of mass destruction, invasion. I mean jeez you must have had something major going on to not remember that.
Garaman, I think Jackdaw is right. With the controversy surrounding the Iraq war it’s easy to misplace events chronologically.
ichkeria, I'm not sure that's entirely accurate. It's certainly true that Blair took us to war under false pretences, but I have to ask whether that war would have happened at all without 9/11?
Keyplus, yes, of course you are right - but I’ll ask you the question I asked ichkeria. Without 9/11 would the war have happened?

Weather Iraq War had anything to do with 9/11 or not is not the point. Over the decades Western countries (mainly USA) has supported dictators in Muslim countries as long as it suited them and then toppled them. They have created so many vacuums in so many countries for the sake of “who would protect our interests” that all these situations are backfiring. And then the inability of Muslim leaders to stand for their own causes and the eviction of the ones who did stand (Egypt, and a go in Turkey) inflames the situation more. Younger generations now take matters in their own hands and fall into the hands of the foreign agencies who want to use them for their own purposes.
As always, this situation will only get worse and worse because a few countries are not willing to forfeit “their own interests” in foreign lands and on the other hand a few are not willing to accept it anymore. All in all, USA and Co has made this world far more instable now than ever, and I am really sorry to say that there is no turning back with people like Donald Trump in line for the presidency of a country which happens to be the only country that have used every possible kind of weapon in this world. Good luck.
