/// Supporters held a minute's applause 10 minutes into the club's Championship game against Huddersfield Town. ///
This is from a club who originally refused to to honour the victims of the Birmingham pub bombings.

the truth is not often AOG's friend
"alleged attempted father killer"
the allegation will never be proven or disproven - coz the fella is dead ( Dalian and not the Dad)
attempted - o god so he didnt even succeed in the alleged attempt
father - OK I'll accept that
Killer - the only one dead is Dalian and not the Dad - and Dalian has been killed and is not a killer
ho hum - some of it is accurate AOG
so yeah I would say completely appropriate
but that is just an opinion

// And I missed off this bit
///no need to be so rude Baldric, and I was not linking it to Birmingham as you incorrectly put/// //
I dont often say this
I dont follow the logical flow in this thread
"originally refused to to honour the victims of the Birmingham pub bombings."
sits uncomfortably with
"and I was not linking it to Birmingham as you incorrectly put"
is it worth explaining it to me or do we put it down to yet another AOG rant ?

/// AOG, you happily bandy around terms such as 'rude' yet seem quite unable to reflect on how your posts increasingly frequently come across. ///
Look I just asked the question "Was It Appropriate For These Supporters To Applause An Alleged Attempted Father Killer"?
Nothing in that was rude or inappropriate, note I put 'alleged' since no inquest has been held yet. But the fact was brought to light by his own brother who announced to the media that his brother tried to kill his father.
I left it to others to voice their opinions but most chose to attack me.
And that is a problem that they have, and not one that I can fix.

I went through @ 1255, what was said in a link you had posted previously and quoted what his brother said, I then offered my opinion that the supporters action was appropriate.
Only in the last line of that post did I query the validity of your linking it to Birmingham, and I stand by that,
Just how low can you get?

Which I wasn't seeing that I linked it to not the city of 'Birmingham', but the 'Birmingham pub bombings'.
Now do you see the difference?
/// I think most readers would see that as a link to Birmingham (Links don't have to be Red) ///
Not sure about that all the links that I see on here are red.

He did say a bit more than that to be fair
///Brother Kenroy told how Atkinson, who had been suffering depression after dialysis treatment for kidney failure, tried to strangle his elderly father Ernest at his home in Telford, Shropshire.
Kenroy, 53, told The Sun: 'My brother had lost it. He was in a manic state and depressed — out of his mind and ranting.///
