I think he deserves a chance to prove himself as a good leader and he may well do that. He's certainly a successful businessman.

JIm...he has promised his core voters things he may have great difficulty in bringing off.
Job for instance....how does he propose to bring back manufacturing jobs to America, a country that has no minimum wage laws ?
He promised to stop all climate change improvements that have already been made.
He has also promised to end support for National Public Radio. When I have made my many journeys across the country, it was NPR that provided the much needed alternative to wall-to-wall country music, and endless repeats of "Hotel California"

DT will come under the microscope extremely closely. His every word, expression and actions will be pulled apart vigorously.
He will have to prepare his scripts very carefully. His opening speech is crucial. Promising unity is just unrealistic, it's just not going to happen. Promising change is also divisive. Whilst he will certainly ruffle some feathers for the betterment of the population, in other areas it will be spot the lead balloons.
Of course, the big issues of the day will be those that he will primarily be judged on. If he gets those right his popularity and respect will be enhanced. It's a big 'if' but he has a mandate and must be allowed the time to create the necessary changes that will see the US flourish.
He has performed a miracle to get this far so we rule him out at our peril.
