In a similar case to Cakegate, a court in the US has ruled that discrimination against gays on religious grounds isn't lawful:

I think that 'appalled' is a little dramatic, but regarding numbers here is one situation where out of 12 gays at a dinner party only one was in favour of marriage.

In spite of those who regularly rock up on this section to remind us all ad nauseum that not everyone (especially them, God forbid we should imagine otherwise!) is in favour of gay marriage -
let's not forget that this case didn't arise because the lady in question didn't approve of gay marriage, it arose because she used that disapproval to indulge in discrimination, and that is not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of law - and breaking it.

Interesting that this 'statistic' comes about because someone is at pains to lobby only his gay friends.
Some of us just have friends - being gay is not a club you have to join - even though you like to speak about it as though it is.

You could have carried on with anything you wanted to say.
I didn't stop or disagree with anyone slating bigoted Christians did I?
So tell me ... who are the actual bigots on this thread?
