Allen, for Pete's sake! I can tell from your naivety, that you are quite young, and that can't be helped, but you do need to, as I said above, "read another book (or two)".
If you look to 20th century history and the USSR, you can clearly see that Marxist/ Leninist ideology was the greatest catastrophe for the common people, - the greatest con of all time. The former Russian peoples had their property, land and possessions stolen from them and then had to suffer poverty, starvation, and even slavery and unspeakable conditions in the Gulag, while the elite 'apparatchiks' lived very high on the hog indeed.
George Orwell's Animal Farm is a fun parody of Marxism, and would make good and entertaining "second book".

allen, //The former Russian people didn't have anything worth stealing!//
Had you been to Communist Russia you would know that the Russian people didn’t have anything worth stealing under that regime either – and the class system was still very much alive and thriving! A case of ‘All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others’. Have you read George Orwell's ‘Animal Farm’? Very enlightening.

You are presuming that age brings wisdom?
Apart from the fact that you are making a massive assumption about Allen's age and experience of the world, with only your take on what he has said - if you really believe that people are only wiser if and because they are older, then it is clearly you who is suffering from naivety!

To be 20 and not be to the left, shows there may be something wrong with your heart, but to be 50 and still be so, there is definitely something wrong with your head. //
Do you read this nonsense in books, or do you make it up yourself.
Since we seem to be in the business of offering unsolicited advice from the benefit of our lofty experience, you perhaps don't need to read 'a book or two ... ' - just different books.
