Wednesday. Lots of wet stuff yesterday and through the night, still overcast, the cloud is coming down the side of Stinchcomb Hill to my right, it won't be long before it's here at ground level. There will be eejits driving with no lights no doubt.
Tiggy didn't stay out too long, he had a wee rootle about while it wasn't raining. He's tucked up cosy in Tiggy Towers now.
Nothing on the calendar for today, so I'll do some not-immediately-essential jobs indoors, when I've done the running around.
Lots of fresh local strawberries about, lots of flavour, I bought a punnet from a local shop, I might make a strawberry trifle with them.
Morning Boaty and Birdies everywhere. Bit cooler this morning but at least it's dry. Same as you Boaty nothing much to chase up so just tie up the peas now the wind has died out and perhaps a walk later.
Nothing worth moaning about Boaty, just the aches from wear and tear of the ages.
Chiropodist tomorrow for a routine check and tidy up, always feel better after that.
Morning, a damp one out there....busy day today ahead of this aller retour to near Guildford tomorrow. Hairchop, food for the troops here, renting a bigger car for more oomph and comfort for 10 to 12 hours of driving and then notes for the carer coming in - she covered when I was away last year for the marriage in France.
Passport also coming in (they tried yesterday but we were out) - amazing in that I only put it in last Monday.
fine ta...nice sunny dry day here today ...next door neighbour , the wife, has gone off with friends to walk the West Highland Way so I am on greenhouse watering and husband watching duties.....he has a date to have a stent fitted in his neck after his recent stroke..so I will not allow him any lifting.....bit of a panic as she went off with the power key to their electric supply so I had to make calls and get a new one....emergency over...lol...
Good morning Boaty - we are in the beautiful city of Madrid, it's glorious here. Off to the Prado this morning and various other this. Just here for four days - not long enough to see everything I'm sure.
