It would seem that in today's comedy everyone and everything is up for ridicule except of course anything racial, Islamic etc, why is this?

You are missing the wjhole point with your invalid analogies.
This is not about a black comedian getting away with telling jokes about black people to black audiences or even a white comedian getting away with telling jokes about white people to white audiences.
Incidentally, any examples of a white comedian making jokes about Islam?

Welcome back to direct communication - it's been a while.
I think my analogy is accurate - you advised in original post that you perceive race and Islam as being off-limits for comedians. My link proves that this is not true - an eight-minute routine about race.
Jokes about Islam?
Check out from 1 Minute 40 seconds - warning -seriously strong language.

What do you mean by that? //
Nothing is off-limits for Mr Boyle, I am sure there will be something to insult Islam somewhere, although that point has been trumped by the Jeff Dunham clip.
Interestingly, AOG's response is that he deems it not offensive.
The point of the clip was not for a critical assessment, it was to debunk AOG's suggestion that Islam is not used as a subject for comedy - as was mine with the Chris Rock clip.
Islam and race are both subjects of comedy routines - AOG's OP is incorrect.
