Perhaps in those countries that are not so acceptive to homosexuality, but surely there is now no longer need here?

“…wander to somewhere along the route of the march. You'll both be very welcome and have an excellent time. :o)” Two or three years ago I was unfortunate enough to be “somewhere along the route of the march”, not wandering but trying to go about my business. I’m not sure whether or not I was welcome (I would like to hope I was not). This was because my...

/// You really do express yourself as a bitter and twisted individual
AOG. ///

If you are looking for bitter and twisted, look no further than yourself and the rest of your flock.
Well said AOG. In view of some of the caustic comments and the need to bring up 400 not out how about a fitting tune?

Oh come on, AOG....you dared to ask?....Dared?......It wasn't daring...you asked and some of us answered.....

Then who started all the puffing?...New Judge....with his rudeness...

But he has given us the best laugh...

"What are your interests, NJ?"
"Steam locomotives"

"Really?.....You're weird and creepy"

As if! Creepy for enjoying steam locomotives?......
Digging around instead of simply apologising.....not for his opinion....for his rudeness and ignorant choice of words.....x

It is not weird and creepy, to be interested in perfect examples of British engineering, without the steam train, Britain and the rest of the world wouldn't be where they are today.
Oh heck......AOG....I know that......that is not what I said....

Now I see why you answer oddly at times....you assume without reading all the posts!

But you've amused me......thank you..... :-)
Ahh I see......I misunderstood...........and got it wrong.......I do apologise, Gness.

Yours,
AOG.....x
AOG....please, don't give it another thought....I knew that being a gentleman you'd apologise when you realised your mistake.....

Love Gx
AOG, my reference was to 'parts' of life that we find disagreeable, like many there are things in my life that fall into that category - I don't start a thread at the drop of a hat about them 'hoofing and puffing'.

Some do.
I think all gay based threads should be rebooted every month just like the 'see how far this goes' thread.
It never fails to draw posters in.

You are not the only one who puts words in my mouth that I have never said.

But please feel free to apologise to yourself.
// without the steam train, Britain and the rest of the world wouldn't be where they are today. //

Exactly, and look where we are - having gay marches all over the place, and being all gay and everything.
I blame George Stephenson and his so-called Rocket.

You don't start a thread period, you and others like you, get your entertainment from sitting on the fence 'hoofing and puffing' about the threads that others choose to enter.
For Funks Sake AOG ... do not look up 'Gay Train.
You're on a roll aren't you AOG, keep going.
Haha.. Train in Vain.

//An estimated 26,500 people are taking part in the festivities, which promote rights for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) community.//

Cor blimey! which "rights" are they now being denied?
A fortnight ago I and many others had their day and evening spoilt by a similar so-called Gay Pride event in Zürich, it's nothing more than a self-centred ego trip and there's something unpleasantly aggressive about it all.

//Cor blimey! which "rights" are they now being denied? // up until a couple of hours ago the right to pass their full pension on to their husband, wife or civil partner! Thank goodness the judge saw that it needed change asap!
I see the link in the OP has been updated now, some great photos, OK a few dissenters but on the whole looked a good day.
