It is not weird and creepy, to be interested in perfect examples of British engineering, without the steam train, Britain and the rest of the world wouldn't be where they are today.
AOG, my reference was to 'parts' of life that we find disagreeable, like many there are things in my life that fall into that category - I don't start a thread at the drop of a hat about them 'hoofing and puffing'.

A fortnight ago I and many others had their day and evening spoilt by a similar so-called Gay Pride event in Zürich, it's nothing more than a self-centred ego trip and there's something unpleasantly aggressive about it all.
