not only would the assasin have to get the driver drunk, he'd have had to initiate French road safety so no barriers where on the pillars in the tunnel. Plus he'd have to infiltrate the motor trade to make sure they were driving a cut and shut and then he'd have to slip them a non seat belt wearing drug! Tough assignment mish money penny!

It has already been established that the level of damage to the car was such that if Diana had been wearing a seat belt as instructed she would not even have been injured. Passengers in identical cars have survived similar crashes at much higher speed with no injury other than bruising if they were seat belted correctly!

Yes.....if I was a professional hit man, that was my job, then either working for a Governmental organisation, or as freelance....then i could kill ANYBODY and i feel that that part of the story may have a shred of truth.
However, if i was a professional killer I would find a more subtle and certain way of killing than that which caused the demise of Princess Diana.
I think that there just might be a grain of truth in the story...a grain.
