Talk of murdering the whole of our Royal Family and their lack of support and patriotism towards the great country they choose to live in, I have heard that there are some anti-British amongst us, but I didn't realise how anti they really were.
Re the murdering of the Royal Family however, why have such posts not been removed and where are all those ABers who took me to task when I dared to criticise the work shy Prince Harry, no mention of killing him though?
Perhaps it is all dependant on who happens to post anything anti- royal?

As regards American sportsmen, I'll let their governing bodies deal with it.
For my own part, I will stand for our Anthem in a formal setting but never at home or in passing.
I am surprised that anyone is surprised at Buen's replies , his dislike of the Monarchy and a great many other things some of us hold dear is well known and spoken of.

It's quite some undertaking to remove not just Buen's post that started it all but also everything that follows it. But it wasn't at all an appropriate thing to say.
Still, gives yet more weight to the classic riddle:
"Q: How do you spot a Republican in a crowd?
A: You won't have to, they'll let you know soon enough."

//I've reported that nasty comment about shooting the Royal family//
Why, HereIam? That's what he thinks, even if it's hateful or "inappropriate" in your or other people's eyes.
Those who want to silence or punish others for saying what they think are Stalinists: the concept of "hate crime" has no place in the law which governs a free people.

I think it perfectly reasonable to state one thought that the Russians had the right idea without folk giving credence to the idea one is seriously proposing it for our lot now. One needs to take such statements in one's stride and not get irate at them.
Meanwhile back at the Superbowl (or whatever) off with their heads, it's the only language these reds under the beds understand.

no one has pointed out that kneeling cannot possibly be taken as aggressive - it is usually a mark of respect
when Winston Churchill pointed out to Lawrence that the Arabs were kneeling in the sand outside their railway carriage ( 1920 I think ) he wasnt saying - "o these disgraceful beasts ! You save them and their fly blown countries and all they do is insult you!"
WSC later asked him (L): what country do you want to govern? [true] and L answered: "Beats me" [ kinda true after a sense]
so I suppose anthropologists would say it depends on the context
