He seems to be calling for a repeat of the first referendum.
I think very few people want that and in any case it is impossible. It's gone too far for that.
A second referendum on a deal perhaps. Which is what Tony Blair and others are calling for.

Reminds me of an episode of “Jeeves and Wooster”. It involved the annual darts match at Bertie Wooster's regular watering hole, the “Drones’ Club”. For the umpteenth time in a row the match was a draw, seven games all.
Bertie: “We can’t understand it Jeeves. We increased the number of games from ten to twelve and now to fourteen because we kept ending up in a draw. But still it happens. Do you think we’ll ever get a proper result?”
Jeeves: “One can only hope, sir. One can only hope.”

It's a strange old business. I profoundly disagree with the views and opinions of Jeremy Corbyn. I believe that the damage he might inflict on the UK given the chance will make Brexit look like a vicar's garden party. But I would not stoop to personally attacking him. He seems very sincere in his beliefs and is using the democratic system to try to gain a position where he can enact them. It doesn't make him horrible or sleazy.

This is surprising, coming from Farage of all people.
There is no guarantee that the British people would give produce a second vote to leave, considering how close it was last time.
After all, only 51.89% of the 72.21% that voted, voted to leave.
If enough evidence comes to exist, that a large enough percentage now say that they don't want to leave, than I would support a second Referendum. But I don't see that we have reached that situation yet.

I don’t think sp is demonstrating Philistine tendencies, JD. I have a history of failing to recognise “well known celebrities and Thespians” when they are mentioned here on AB. I think sp has seized the opportunity to serve up some just desserts! (Or I may be wrong!)

But not if evidence suggested that at least as great a proportion, or possibly higher, would still vote to Leave, Mikey? Have you been to an EU symposium on “getting the right result” lately? In any case, what happens if the second vote results in the score being one all? Does the second vote swing it because it is more recent and/or more palatable? Supposing eighteen months after the second vote, there is evidence to suggest that the electorate has changed its mind again? A third vote? And what if….. (I’m sure you get my drift).
