Nigel thinks it might be a good idea, to send off Tony Blair "to obscurity".

No. When your numbers come up you take your winnings and run.

Anyone suggesting a second referendum obviously has no understanding of the meaning of Democracy
Mmm would be nice to send Blair 'to obscurity'!!

Thought he was already there tbh.
I voted out that's it for me ...if there's another referendum I won't vote the 1st vote should stand whatever
No Baldric, he's 'dead but won't lie down' !!
//Thought he was already there tbh.//

If only it were so. After being instrumental in cocking the region up, he's spent the last decade gallivanting around the middle east attempting to wash the blood from his hands, and earning quite a tidy sum for it too.
The only circumstance that a second referendum might be needed is if the House of Commons votes against Brexit when it is supposed to vote it into British Law. But they are unlikely to do that.

The Referendum cost £150 Million. It seems like a lot of money to spend again just to shut up an odious former PM for exercising his right to free speech.
What about for me ? - i'm not odious - honest
no no no otherwise we could go on forever having referendrums
Old Nige may be a lot wilier than given credit for, playing both ends against the middle or even a double agent.

Bring on the vote! :-)
I understand why he said it but tbh it is a waste of money to have another referendum.

If there was I am sure the remain side would try a bit harder. They might even manage to give a reason or two why the EU is so great to be a part of rather than 'project fear' mark II
"...otherwise we could go on forever having referendrums"

No we wouldn't. If the second resulted in a "Remain" vote, that would be enacted immediately and we would never, EVER, have another. Be warned.
And of course we now know for a fact the extent of the back-stabbing chicanery that 'leave' are capable of with their cabal of second rate liars and nobodies leading the way.

Do allow me to edit that Douglas old chap.

Sincere flattery, right there. :)
Flattery... Mockery... Shockery.... other erys are available. :))
Gentleman, gentlemen!

It is well established that politicians tell lies, exaggerate and spin half-truths. It always has been, always will be and both sides in the referendum debate exhibited that quality in shedloads.

It's voters' jobs to see through their lies and make their minds up accordingly. They did this when they cast their votes in June 2016.
Good old Nige, utterly delusional as usual ( not that I am a Blair fan in any shape or form I hasten to add, but if he thinks a second referendum would result in us leaving he really has got another thing coming, bless his little cotton whatsits.
