If so, please read this and learn why Britain needs to escape from the stinking quagmire of the EU establishment;

I began to pick out a few phrases for demonstration. But gave up in the end as just about the entire article sums up quite succinctly the morass and anti-democratic cess pit that the EU is. But it doesn't matter what you say or what proof you provide. There are those who believe that the UK cannot survive unless it subscribes to this corrupt organisation whose...

lol That's OK I do that all the time
As usual, the hard of thinking have branded me an EU sympathiser. Try thinking beyond your prejudices please. We might actually have an intellectual debate.
Hard of thinking hmm. It isn't hard for you it seems Zac to decide a foreign unelected official making power grabs that no one can take away is a better bet than a democratically elected MP who we have the ability to get rid of in elections.

And you think we ar hard of thinking lol

But that is your prerogative.
That's very sporting and honourable of Mr. Juncker.
No-one seems to have picked up on the fact that this guy is German. Says a lot.
As with Naomi this morning, I think your last post, Cassa, rather proves my point.

If you want to convince yourself that our MPs have more interest in our common good than the EU, then you’re seriously delusional.

We are one of the most prosperous nations in the world. Why anyone would want to rock the boat is beyond me. Yeah yeah yeah, I get the EU imposing rules on us....blah blah blah....and all that. It doesn’t change the fact that we are doing ok out of it all.

Can any leave voter cite 3 (just 3) examples of how the EU has affected them personally?
I was under the impression that Peter had mentioned the Germans had control of 3 out of 4 now. Either I imagined it or it was a different thread. Not that it should matter. An undemocratic controlling elite playing power games for their own benefit is bad enough whatever nationality.
I can...

The price of fish has risen exponentially,
Jersey Royal potatoes don't taste the same since the EU banned them from being stored in seaweed,
Curly cucumbers and bananas are things of the past.
Maybe I should have said ‘seriously’ affected JD ;-)
All this talk of MPs is a false equivalence - Martin Selmayr is part (now leader) of the civil service.

The argument should be that Sir Jeremy Heywood is just as bad at Westminster (which of course I do not countenance).
It’s not a ‘false equivalence’ at all. These are the people who leave voters have entrusted to take more care of us than the EU. Laughable really.
The price of fish SERIOUSLY affects me!
In what way?
Of course it's a false equivalence.

A true equivalence to an MP in Westminster is an MEP in the European Parliament.

European Commissioners (unelected) are equivalent to a Government Cabinet (elected).

The admin for the Commission are the civil service. That they are the driving force for the European Project is not even laughable.
Zacsmaster, //As with Naomi this morning, I think your last post, Cassa, rather proves my point.//

Such was your imaginary ‘point’ proven that you beat a hasty retreat from that thread never to be seen again, My post there at 09:43 stands.
I’m sorry. I had other things to attend to in the real world N. I hoped I’d made up for it by re joining the thread.

Care to name 3 things which will personally make your life better after leaving the EU?
My vote to leave the EU was not about me. I can afford it either way.
Then please explain what it was about.
‘I can afford it either way’

Wow, what an elitist attitude.
