I began to pick out a few phrases for demonstration. But gave up in the end as just about the entire article sums up quite succinctly the morass and anti-democratic cess pit that the EU is. But it doesn't matter what you say or what proof you provide. There are those who believe that the UK cannot survive unless it subscribes to this corrupt organisation whose...

Yep, that's me. Elitist....but caring with it. ;o)
I never had you down as altruistic N.

So what were your ‘greater good’ reasons for voting leave?
No surprise there, Zacs. You're so often wrong.
29 Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. 30 And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called Edom.[a]

31 But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.”

32 And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?”

33 Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.”

So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. 34 And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way.

Thus Esau despised his birthright.
And the reasons you voted leave......?
v_e, bless you my son. ;o)
33 Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.”
34 ‘*** right off’ said Esau.
//The price of fish SERIOUSLY affects me!\\

I love fish and I live on a limited income.
Well, a very sound reason there JD. (Shakes head and despairs).
Is taking the pysse your usual thing?
Me takin the pysse ? You’re the one waffling on about a good reason to leave the EU bing the price of fish.
"Care to name 3 things which will personally make your life better after leaving the EU"

You are fundamentally missing the point with questions such as this, Zacs. It's not what the EU does that is good, or what it does that it does that is bad. It's the fact that it has the power to do them. There are some good things it has done (mobile roaming fee abolition, "open skies"); there are some awful things that it has done (the euro, Schengen). Maastricht set the scene for a federal Europe. The Lisbon Treaty provided for the supremacy of EU law over UK law (enforced by the ECJ). No authority (especially an unelected one) should have supremacy over UK law, enacted by the UK Parliament. That's it in a nutshell.
Another way of stating the point in the hope that Zac's Master will understand the political and (as I see it) the moral issue is this:

...even if I knew that leaving the EU would be followed by ten years of Corbyn government, I would still have voted Brexit.
Although it sticks in my throat, so would I, v-e.
Me too, holding my nose. Remember Enoch Powell resigning as a Tory MP and voting Labour rather than kow-tow to the EEC, as it then was? I only wish he were alive to see this day.
If he were alive today he'd be turning in his grave.
One can easily mock personal affects from the EU as being unimportant but the actual issue is nationwide interference from the EU. Even if exiting changed nothing on a personal level it' would still be vital to reclaim sovereignty and control our own destiny. It's a must-have and sufficient by itself. So searching for personal affects isn't useful.
Gosh, you’re all so altruistic aren’t you!

You’re still advocating swapping one bunch of corrupt self centred politicians for another and propagandising that as something of a moral victory. Wood / trees.....?
Vastly more than just moral.
Getting rid of the unelected foreign elite that impose their vision on us.
Returning control to British representatives who can be removed by election.
(Of course, we still have the civil service to try to keep in check; but nothing's perfect.)
Zac// You’re still advocating swapping one bunch of corrupt self centred politicians for another and propagandising that as something of a moral victory. Wood / trees.....?//

1. By saying the above you are implying you agree that the supremacy of the EU MPs is above UK MPs. That my dear Zac is where the problem lies. Not only do we want our corrupt MPs to have supremacy we want the ability to get rid of them.
2. EU MPs have little power and can't do anything. It is the unelected EU commission that has the power and we have no mechanism to get rid of them.

It's you that can't see the wood for the trees because you are inside the forest. And for someone who infers leavers are some how less intelligent than yourself or unable to fathom the complexities of this issue you are showing signs of

I think Zac is a perfect example of why Remainers will fight to the bitter end and beyond. Even when presented with unequivocal evidence they are blindnto the problem or reason.
