Do you think that the Environment Health Department responsible for ensuring the well being of the local residents in Dagenham should be investigating this practice? Or are you comfortable with wholesale butchery of carcases, that as yet have no known provenance, for consumption by possibly unknowing people? It would appear that the mistakes learned over centuries, in Britain, can be "overlooked" and regulations introduced to combat malpractice and epidemic can be ignored in the name of acceptance of alien custom and diversity. Talk about a step back to the barbaric dark ages.

ichk@eria: you have made a very valid Intellectual point. A sacrifice is just that...no one should benefit except the 'God(s)'
A sacrifice can be more than killing something, but it always means giving something up that is valuable to you. Cutting that 'sacrifice' into tasty morsels and having a feast is not a sacrifice!

ichi; Nobody is 'ranting' about multiculturalism. The fact is that in most cases Jews and Muslims do not stun animals before slaughter, the Jews do it in private - which makes it no less of an abomination, and Muslims will do it anywhere, even in residential areas.
Speaking out about cruelty, is not racism, and should not be condoned under the flag of multiculturalism.
I am certain that the carcasses in the back yard were not actually slaughtered there, because bleeding an animal to death would create too much blood, I expect that was done somewhere else, probably not far away.

From Ichkeria.////Presumably though if it were just a sacrifice there’d be no need to butcher it into cuts.//
Why presume? Research and find out what’s done and why/

Coincidence?
//The bloodied fleeces and entrails of up to 63 ewes and lambs were found dumped in a village in Essex yesterday.
Residents in Takeley were horrified when they found the organs after 27 ewes and 36 lambs were stolen from a field 40 miles away in Lindsey.
‘Stealing this number of sheep suggests the involvement of a gang who must have used large vehicles to move them. We would urge the public to be wary of buying meat from unusual sources, such as from pub car parks.’//
