If we remain in the EU single market then, by definition, we'd be subject to its rules; ditto, remaining in the Customs Union.

So, therefore, you do care: according to your red lines, we should leave those institutions. I'm slightly surprised you didn't already know that this would have to be the case in your vision of Brexit.
