Tommy Robinson has had his facebook and instagram account terminated. Facebook says he has continually violated its community standards with hate speech against Muslims.

Is you use social media in ways that violate their policies around organised hate then surely you're a bad person?

Well, for instance, that this country (and Europe generally) has been willing to surrender its own values under pressure from its Muslim community. Examples of that are obedience to Islamic blasphemy laws, acceptance of halal slaughter methods, not allowed to make jokes about Muslims etc. Another example is the extreme reluctance to acknowledge, far less prosecute the rape gangs which have been operating for more than two decades.

The sharper among his critics (at least the honest ones) will allow that opposition to these retrograde cultural pressures and to co-ordinated sexual abuse were the two causes célèbres which Robinson - based on his experience in Luton - embraced. And has been attacking them ever since in his yobbish and sometimes intemperate way.

To quote Douglas Murray: Islam is the cause, Tommy Robinson is the effect. The ruling class and its organs have no problem dealing with the symptoms: if you criticise Islam we'll make you suffer. What it lacks is the will, the honesty and the courage to deal with the cause.

Not me for sure. I notice when spouting vitriol and spite all day on the deeds or alleged misdeeds of Mr Robinson. Mr Hughes admits like certain others here he has never read what Robinson has said or debated. At least Robinson stands his corner and doesn't decide I was only having some sport when his back is to the wall and the hole is too deep Master debater. Huh.
