It would be nice if as well as having a go at both the Police and those of us who can see this as lighthearted fun that you'd also ask some posters to refrain from posting bogus videos and photos before they've checked their validity more carefully.
(Apologies re forgetting 'Pet' is probably local to V_E)

/// For heaven’s sake! They’re not getting into full ‘Strictly’ mode. They’re having a little jig around to the music and interacting with the public. ///
Neighbour calls police over late night load music coming from a house who are having a party, only to find when the police arrive they are seen having a little jig amongst the guests.
Just interacting with the public, you understand?

You really are stretching now!
If you can find a comparison between officers called to investigate an potentially criminal incident, and fooling around, and officers observing a public event, and maybe joining in festivities for a few minutes, then you have a seriously vivid (and malfunctioning!) imagination.

I would think that this crazy yearly event qualifies as a criminal incident, the first day of this event has so far seen 97 arrests and 11 officers hurt with yet another day to go.
