this is seriously getting on my nerves, this whole brexit thwarting tactics....errr
i just want to see an end to it, leave obviously..how long can this go on, court cases to stop it
were all going to die, were doomed etc etc.
I too don't understand the logic that No Deal (aka WTO terms) means impoverishment. The "Deal" is an alternative to the Lisbon Treaty. It is not a trade deal. Either the EU and the UK will agree a trade deal at a later date or they will not. I would like to think that pragmatism would prevail but since the EU is involved that cannot be guaranteed. In that case both...
I am more than fed-up of a handful of people thwarting a democratic vote. I'm not keen on Boris's deal (would prefer WTO) but it would at least have got us out and into a negotiating position over the other things like fishing, courts etc..
Dont want a no deal dont want a deal its obvious they have bottled it and just want to remain. Saves them having to govern and roll on the GE to see the back of many of these undemocratic t*ss*rs
What worries m about this deal is that a No Deal is still effectively a risk even if the deal is passed.
Why? Because if the free trade negotiations fail a year from now it leaves us cast adrift. It’s a backstop in reverse in a way. Johnson has told sceptics that that won’t happen but that reassurance is meaningless.
And Dominic Raab has claimed it’s a great deal for N Ireland because it will have FRICTIONLESS TRADE WITH THE EU!!!
No apologies for shouting: the irony of that is staggering.
Has it occurred to you Danny that if it’s true that MPs would have voted for the deal then these are the same MPs who also voted for Letwin? The govt needed 320 votes to get the deal passed and 322 voted for the amendment
