BoJo = Blotted Jotter. Didn't think you could get engaged while you were still married, but BJ seems to be a law unto himself. You must all know by now how much I detest the man.
The man is a massive slimeball. He can do what he likes in his private life but I feel sorry for Carrie. I think she’s got a hell of a time ahead of her.
He can’t even do his job properly. He calls an “emergency” meeting about the Coronavirus on Friday to be held on Monday after he’s had a nice weekend off.
Getting engaged means very little these days and nothing legally binding. For many it seems its just an excuse for a party and a ring. I've been married for 48 years and we never got engaged.
I find the idea of “engagement” quite amusing. To my mind it’s what you do when you’re 16 and been going out with someone for a year and you think you might get married when you’re grown up.
Like Apc2604, Husband and I didn’t “get engaged” we just told people we were getting married.
I don’t know what he did on the weekend Emmie, but he doesn’t seem to put a lot of work in.
It’s just the “emergency meeting” in three days’ time that got me.
The fact is that Boris knows how to and does delegate and why should he be in the public eye all the time in the media. It doesn't mean that he isn't working hard or doesn't care.
When people agree to marry, they are engaged. The ring is a bonus - especially if it's a real sparkler!!
This is just a 'let's have a go at Boris' thread - reminiscent of the many threads from the past designed especially for people who get some perverse satisfaction in spitting unjustified bile at Mr Trump or Tommy Robinson.
" The fact that Boris knows how to and does delegate " ?
Do you mean Dominic knows how to delegate ?, I often wonder if Boris Squeals when Dom "The Puppet Master " pulls the strings.
Caring or not, Clover, my main in point is that he's a delegator, and trusts and supports his team. He doesn't need to be wasting time trying to please the media by always being in the public eye. The problem with Theresa was she couldn't delegate at all.
He has done what was thought impossible, got the UK out of the E U, gained a huge majority in the house of commons, devastating Labour strongholds in the NE, and to cap it all is now engaged to a pretty and intelligent woman who is carrying his child.
Agreed Emmie. Very much his own man! But listens to his advisors and is able to take advice and act on it after discusion with the relevant parties ONLY IF IT'S AGREED UPON.
