Piers Morgan asked Matt Hancock this morning if he was prepared to take a pay cut, his answer was no, asked why, he said he's having to work day and night. So should he take one?

I’ve said it afore I’ve said it Brighton
I suspect Piers Morgan earns considerably more than an MP.
I found the interview with the Care Minister yesterday very uncomfortable to watch. Piers didn't let her speak and his figures were from the media. She was right to say that the numbers on deaths must be verified before publishing.

As for today's I/V, the pay issue has nothing to do with what the public think. No other country has opted for MPs pay cut.

13.23 Not really related to the question.
Anyone that's still working and not furloughd, should get the same pay they always did.

P Morgan is an unbearable eejit.

Its not in any way related to the question, no matter how many links you offer. the question was should Matt, along with other ministers take a pay cut, your just turning it into an ear bashing towards Morgan, its not the question.
1. The link was provided as a separate point. I thought you might struggle with me making more than one point at a time.
2. I covered why it’s related. Just claiming it’s not is just childish.

I can see why you’re a Piers fan.
Should he take a pay cut: No.Should he be inpost: No
tomus, not furloughed maybe but they're having quite a decent school holiday. Personally, I think Parliament should be sitting.
The general consensus seems to be 'No, he shouldn't take a pay cut', teacake. Do you think he should - and if so why?

How can Parliament be sitting JNO given the present lockdown?
Question Author
Well thank god someone asked, NO I don't, without their education we would be in a much bigger mess.
You could have just voluntarily given us that info, teacake. Why do you think you needed to wait for someone to ask?
they were always going to be "sitting" from April 21, in whatever format, ZM (even if only dressed from the waist up). But at the height of a national emergency, they've had four weeks off, and I think that was a mistake.
Question Author
I was asking the question not giving my opinion, plus at the beginning of the post I just, and only just wanted to know what the general opinion was. Along with who would turn it into an argument for their own satisfaction, you got top marks for that!
JNo, these things take time to set up properly and securely. Surely you appreciate that? It’s the same argument as wanting to have PPE sat on shelves for an unspecified worldwide event. Nobody had, just as there was no video conferencing facility to accommodate 635 people. Why not say, ‘wow they’ve got that up and running quickly’ instead of the glass half empty approach?
NO

and no doubt if they did some of them would try and recoup it via expenses and lets not forget the £10k thats available to buy WFH equipment that im willing to bet every one of them already has...i'm looking forwards to seeing figures on who has used these extra finances and to what extent and for what...i wont hold my breath though
