They are mostly a standard template that needs tweaking for the actual outlet, retail/table service is very simple in app terms. They knocked up an app as one of the tasks on the apprentice for gawd sake.

As it to emphasis Tora’s point they were interviewing a small Cotswold pub in the middle of pretty much nowhere yesterday. They had their own app ready to go: how much off the shelf I don’t know.

you know in motorbike shops, the new bikes arrived more or less assembled in crates. The shop puts on a few bits and polishes them up ready for the show room. That is what most apps are now days.

I don't know the percentage but apps such as this are usually a one off payment.

It can be a one off payment but then you pay through the nose for any changes. Usually better to have a monthly service contract then it's permanently upgraded and supported. Any pub would do it's own analyses of what the app brings in and bin it of it's not paying for itself.
