Sussexes Pay Back Frogmore Debt...
I notice there's nothing about this as yet. I guess ABers only really care about negative stories about Harry and Meghan.

They've paid back their debt to the taxpayer. Good. It's the right thing to do, although it won't stop the whiners whining about them as I'm sure they're well aware. Now, which of the other royals will be next to cough up I wonder.

Mozz. //it seems that many are desparate for them to fail.//
Your imagination is getting the better of you again. No one has said they want them to fail - I just want them to stop behaving as though they are Mother Teresa reincarnate. They preach the ills of global warming whilst jetting around the world, they bang on about equality whilst living in the lap of luxury, and they are suffering under the delusion that their new plans will bring inspiration and hope. How patronising! Additionally, they intend making programmes about family life when they have little to recommend them in that department. They’ve fallen out with their families so can hardly claim to hold the secret to family unity. She said recently that she’d given up everything for that family - meaning the royals - but what has she given up? A job in a second rate soap? She hasn’t given up her newly acquired title has she! That’s far too useful to her. The fact is it’s Harry who has given up everything - including his country, his heritage and his family. In my opinion she is manipulative, controlling, highly ambitious, self-obsessed - and a hypocrite to boot. In truth without him she would still be an obscure ‘also ran’. But then as Harry says … what Meghan wants, Meghan gets…. well, she does now she has him in tow.

I stand by my words, many would much rather see it all come crushing down and Harry come running back to Daddy tail between legs. The cries of "I told you so" will be deafening from some quarters.
I have no idea of the context of Meghan's quote, so I can't comment on it (context is all important when replying to any statement. It's so easy to take only a portion a quote and be able to add a completely different context to it, wouldn't you say?).
You've shown yourself to have distaste towards all things woke in the paste, including climate change, equality and diversity, so of course you're not going to be happy to see yet another celebrity couple find a platform to campaign for these sort of things. Plus you have no idea if their ideas for shows will bring "inspiration and hope", they won't to you, as you do not share their standpoint, but to others, it may do just that (Neither do I of course, that's a case of wait and see).
As you state, the final paragraph is your opinion, one you're completely entitled to. I don't share your viewpoint, mainly because I don't really care enough to pay them much attention. As I said previously, royal matters are not high on my list of priorities when it comes to following the news. All I see is a young couple trying to be happy and self efficient. Good luck to anyone from the Royal Family who want to break off and do their own thing. Less for us to have to pay for.
Sadly for Bobbs/ILM, I'll pick a BA according to my preference on a thread I started. I'll stick with one that shares my viewpoint in this instance.

Agreed, Bobbs. I created the OP, solely because I see so much bashing of H&M, and felt that the positive act of paying off the Frogmore debt, something that I've seen used as a rod to bash them with, wasn't being acknowledged here.
I have no real desire to look like a fan of the pair, I only wanted to balance the scales.

You really should stop imaging things. I’ve given you my reasons for objecting to what they’re doing so please don’t misrepresent me. This isn’t about me - or my opinions on climate change, equality, diversity or ‘woke’.

Of course it is to an extent. Your views on the subjects H&M plan on creating content about are going to dictate your opinions towards their attempts to break into production. That's not a criticism of you Naomi, it's just natural. If they were planning a project celebrating all things Trump, I'd probably feel the same way as you.
