What a boring man he is, he has no charisma at all, he's banging on about what he would've done differently had he been PM, do me a favour!!
You need charisma and a bit of 'wow' factor to appeal to the voters, Boris has it, as did Cameron, Blair, Thatcher, Wilson, MacMillan, Churchill, where as May, Brown, Major, Callaghan, Heath, Douglas-Home didn't have it.
Labour will be in the wilderness for many years IMO under this man.
All that Labour did during the early stages of covid is criticise, offering nothing constructive at all. They then voted in Starmer who I agree is a totally boring, uncharismatic man. As Woofy has said that shouldn't be held against him. But he simply has carried on criticising and then occasionally in a very patronising saying he is supporting what Boris is...
"Saying you're going to do something and actually doing it are two different things, it's fine promising the earth, it's the delivery that counts..."
World beating track and trace, anyone?
//World beating track and trace, anyone?//
I'm not sure that this particular idea would work effectively. Both France and Spain have had a reasonably good track and trace system but both countries are seeing cases doubling day by day.
I would think that we have another world beating speech at 8pm, with shoulders arms and fists flying in all directions to show us all how tuff he is, just to tell us about early closing of pubs. :0)
we elected him and knew his scrowing around and we cheered,
he frazzled his hair and we clapped
he quoted bits of latin and we sang hallelujah ! ( a bit awry there - OK - O fortuna! )
he opened and closed pubs like lady of the nights knickers
and we la-la'd the Can-can
