I just absolutely do not think that is true, or ever has been. Through my life my family and I have been both givers and receivers of kindness under very different circumstances and in different parts of the country and actually different parts of the world. We aren't especially "good" or "lucky". Yes we have met nasty folk, selfish folk, bullies, cheats and criminals but they have been in the absolute minority.

Whhere did you get that from Naomi? A few years ago, I volunteered at a food back (cut short, as I found work shortly after). The only time anything like that happened was with expired food which couldn't legally be distributed to the public.
