I think you are right - Trump is gearing up for a legal challenge that will last months if not years.

He will only see the system as corrupt if it fails to return him to the White House.

Once again America gets the candidate it dislikes the least - a poor show for a wonderful country with a baffling electoral system that needed overhauling decades ago.

Biden is at least trying to be that leader:

Pasta that is a great insight into what is really going on in the USA and quite frightening. I hope Trump loses the Presidency, but I do fear for the backlash which will happen if he loses, as he has been stirring up his supporters for months. Basically, telling them there will be corruption in the voting and now 'proving' he was right. Radicalised nutters are one thing -but radicalised nutters with guns is another.

Sadly, with Trump around I fear that will not happen. He has a huge following, and he will use his influence over it to raise the temperature and incite as much trouble as he can. He is a narcissist and will react to defeat with rage and malice. Uniting and healing is not in his nature.

Yes, there's nothing particularly special or original about Biden's approach in the speech, except for the fact that he's saying it and Trump isn't, and never would think of saying it. The only person in America Trump cares for is Trump, and yet, sadly, millions of people thought that he cared for them. That says something about the failure of normal politicians, but also says something about the vulnerability of those Americans, who feel let down by the Government, to con artists.

APG...im finding what's hoing on both frightening and ...embarrassing. It's behaviour I just can't comprehend. Democracy seems to have gone out the window. Luckily my brother and the rest of my family do not live in red-neck areas...
But, I think most of my other relatives are Trump supporters. Even my sister in law and her sister are on opposite sides. They are Cuban...and a lot of Cubans have this strange belief that the Democrats will take the freedoms they escaped Cuba for, away.

You cant expect the Republicans to take it for 4 years and not give some back. It works both ways. I'm sure JB means well but he has the rest of his party to control and than aint gonna be easy!
