// Boris Johnson’s independent adviser on ministerial interests was “completely satisfied with the Chancellor’s propriety of arrangements”, adding Sunak has “followed the ministerial code to the letter”.//
I can't find a link to support that. but I can find plenty of links to Labour's policy of flogging off the nation's gold reserves, and their policy of tax raids on the nation's pension pots. If kids were indeed taken out of poverty, it was at the expense of the nation's pensioners.
//The former human rights barrister is said to be a millionaire - although his Wikipedia page removed this fact ahead of his leadership launch.//
I wonder why he did that, was he afraid that Labour voters would not vote for him?
TTT, the Register states, "The List sets out interests currently held by Ministers, or their close family members, which
are additional to those already disclosed in the Parliamentary Registers and which are, or might reasonably be perceived to be, directly relevant to a Minister’s ministerial
responsibilities."
Since Labour rifled their parents’ pension pots and abolished the low rate income tax for low earners, I can only assume that food banks, which first popped up on Labour’s watch, came to the rescue. Hurrah! Three cheers for Labour!
under the last real Labour government, the basic rate of income tax was 33%. Who mostly lowered it from then? yep the one they hate TGL. Some people have very short selective memories.
The point which is being missed about Sunak's ability to do his job despite is wealth is that he married into money, he wasn't born into it. Although it seems his parents were not exactly poor, I suspect he's seen all both wealth and hardship over the years.
