Sorry most churches and other places of worship that are open have put social distancing measures in place, but I agree shut everyone of them we don't need religion of any flavour. We do need food, cleaning materials, and personal hygiene items. We don't need alcohol. Might reduce some of the supermarket traffic
Have you ever watched the behaviour at an office party. As alcohol consumption rises inhibitions fade. People who normally have a personal space requirement within the normal range hug, stand ever closer, and other very close activities. People who are drinking often talk louder, increasing droplet and aerosol production, they may start singing, Churches have stopped congregations singing hymns. Then they leave, still disinhibited, to travel on public transport, not aware enough to be careful of others. It wouldn't be for long, and many will be doing Dry January anyway.
