Due to the current crisis, I presume EU will want to keep the Pfizer jabs for themselves so we may have a glut of Astra Zeneca. My first jab was a Pfizer. Would it be safe to have the AZ as a second jab? Wonder if I will get it in April........

I *think* I read ages ago that it didn't matter if you had 2 different jabs. I (it) could be wrong tho'.
did you decide to get yours done in the end TC?
Dave only if you go to Boris's cocktail party. :0)
i believe that you have the same jab each time.
I read that too, dave.
Bednobs, yes had it 15//2
//teacake44Don't really know why anyone on here is concerned about getting first or second jab, you spend most of your time at home on AB, so really the workers should be getting it first. :0))))//

Perhaps that's because we can't go out. :O(. Nowhere to go and following the rules. AB is somewhere to communicate with other human beings!!
Can't go out? who's rules you following.
you can go out and meet one person still, as far as i know.
i met up with a mate for takeaway outside coffee the other day, we have been doing this for weeks and weeks.
TC. We live remotely, I am old and disabled, and any social activity pre Covid was involved going further affield and the car. The coast is now patrolled and we are told to stick to our very local areas. Not rules but advice, that we actually take! OH can walk locally over fields. I can't. Lots of people are in a similar situation . AB is something to do.
I was out best part of yesterday with a friend and we done over 14,000 steps
Apc, you really don't have to explain :0)
I spent nearly all afternoon yesterday in Halfords, they seem to think, like a lot of other firms, that due to covid they can wave customers consumer rights, by rejecting all emails to and from their customer services. You may be lucky and they will answer the phone, but one then has no proof of anything that is said that way. So I served the store manager with a written notice of rejection under the consumer act. Result they replaced my faulty dash cam, there and then. :0) So I did lots of communicating yesterday,. really enjoyed it. :0)))))))
12.20 They can't stop you getting in your car to go a reasonable distance for exercise. NJ as explained many times, and if you do come across a police officer who wants to play games, then NJ advice was to refuse the on the spot fine.
And I can't drive anymore. At least I have an OH and animals for company. Others won't have. I can't just pop out for a coffee with a friend. I do see my son probably every couple of weeks, but he is taking care about being near me because he is an essential worker whose job involves travelling to more Covid ridden places. So our meetings have been in the garden!!! I have three neighbours. Two are working households and the others are older than us and a fair way away.

I am not complaining, I am lucky and have support.
teacake - was that the "hot" dashcam you were asking us about the other day? If so, well done.
I know what you mean re Halfords, teacake. I sent my council an email about the bill I received yesterday, and I got an automatic reply saying that because of Covid they hoped to respond..... in 2 to 3 weeks
letters to the council & Severn Trent water - no replies after several weeks.
