I wasn't really concentrating but sure I heard John McEnroe and whoever was commentating with him discussing one of the male players today and saying his mother would have fancied him (think he was the Italian as he also mentioned Adriano Panatta which is what made me prick my ears up as he was definitely tasty) - haven't heard anyone complaining about that.

Sorry jno, I just don't seem what the fuss is. I got it when Inverdale basically called a player a moose, but this is ridiculous. I'd imagine the lady in question is more mortified by the reaction of the comment than the comment itself.

That isn’t the main issue. The complaint is that this is ‘objectification’, so it wouldn’t be acceptable anywhere. For people who agree with Stephanie Hilborne it follows that never again, in their estimation, should anyone say that a woman is pretty.

all a load of nonsense, the commentators, i think it was McEnroe said that Berritinni is an Adonis, with a stature or somesuch words to match, good looking etc, what's wrong with that.... i can't see making a point of saying someone is pretty is harmful in anyway, this woman should effin well get a life.
