fender - // id even go so far as saying, a lot of homegrown give tacit approval to it
because they don't have the numbers here..yet, islam first british second, get the numbers first, in seats of government and civil society. //

Do you seriously imagine that if your scenario exists, Islamists wish to take over western society, they would waste valuable time and effort infiltrating its power sources, in order to perver them to its cause?

I suggest that they would simply mobilse those giving 'tacit approval' and have them cutting down westerners in the streets wholesale.

Your paranoia suggests you have been reading too many spy thrillers.
andres - // ^^^And they won't stop until all of us 'the infidels' have been converted to Islam. //

Islamists don't want to bother with the time-consuming and tedious task of 'converting' Westerners, which is a dodgy proposition at best.

Far simpler surely to just murder them.

And the fact that we are not all dead in our beds rather underlines the level of minority interest in such a solution, don't you think?
andy, i get where you coming from truly, but as we have sen across europe, with islamic murders on non believers, come on...really
do you not think there is a concerted effort here, but thwarted by the authorites for now, they just lack the numbers, again for now, poland hungaria see whats coming down the road, thye are pretty good at it, having been occupied before.
AH, //They would simply mobilise//? How are they going to do that when they’re so very heavily outnumbered in the west? Of course gaining high office is important to them. I don’t suppose you saw the euphoric celebrations in Pakistan when
British born Sadiq Khan was elected mayor of London. I can’t imagine why they were so joyful.
authorites tip toe around the problem as it's all about inclusivity, what happened to your in britain so act accordingly and obey our rules.
now its diversity makes us stronger, it does not for as guests
are taking the proverbial and killing us.
Utterly pig-headed and contrary for the sake of it.

Just my opinion, to which we're all entitled, apparently.

Naomi asserts that Jihadists have been fighting since Islam's inception.

If that's so, they really have not made anything approaching something which could be defined as progress, have they?

Yes I agree it is a cocnerted effort, but it is a concerted effort by a minicule minority of madmen, compared to the number of Muslims across the world.

By definition, terrorism is supposed to frighten us, and to draw attention to the cause of the terrorists, but we have to keep this in perspective.

This debate has been raised by the tragic murder of an innocent man, and that is clearly one death too many.

But to afford one lunatic's actions as the harbinger of a wider assault on Western civilisation is to play entirely into the hands of the terrorists, and allow fear to overcome us.

We remain safe by being vigilant, and by not allowing the isolated actions of a few unbalanced fanatics to let us think that they actually possess anything approaching the level of power and support they need to ever achieve their perverted aims.

A couple of days ago on a similar thread, you confirmed that you, quote, 'did not wish to get into it with me'.

Allow me to assist you with that position.

We are indeed - don't be so hard on yourself, I am sure you have something useful to contribute, when you eventually work out what it is.
andy, ill say it again..muslim first, and it will always be so, specially in there closed communities, iv seen it and so have you, remember the mo cartoons and the street protests...over a bloody cartoon caricture imagine worse...and imagine getting really angry, we are now tip toeing round them, nice words like inclusion and makes us stronger, thats all lies and you know it, don't see hindus or jews dowing the same thing...let alone going around blowing us up or stabbing us or using lorries to mow us down.
AH, I’ve invited you to check my ‘assertions’ but you never do. I’m not getting into it with you. Simply rectifying the false information you constantly convey to the reader. And yes, actually their warmongering got them rather a long way. From a town in Saudi Arabia across vast swathes of the Middle East and North Africa within the first hundred years of Islam’s existence. Not bad for tribesmen!
naomi - // I’m not getting into it with you. //

Glad to hear it.
I don’t doubt it.
fender - // thats all lies and you know it, //

While I am happy to exchange thoughts and ideas with you, how about you stick to what you think and know, and advise me, and everyone else, and I'll do the same.

That way you don't trip over telling me what I 'know', and the debate will proceed much more efficiently.
You tried Webbo, you really tried. As usual though, just like the thread you knew had been rinsed by them, the usual though dervishes found you and turned what was meant to be an escape from them into a whirlpool of introspect, copy and paste, echo chamber opinion and ultimately all about them. Two men who know no better and are in thrall with themselves, and think that we should be as well.
Togo, I have no idea what that post means - care to put it plain English?

Your choice of course, personally I'm not bothered either way
It appears that there a muslims who believe the Koran's teachings and support jihad against the west, and those who are not militant and live relatively peaceful lives. However, where does Andy get the fact from that the number or percentage of muslims in the world would not agree with waging acts of terror? I suggest it may not be as 'miniscule' as you think, and considering the growing numbers of islamic terrorist related crimes within Britain in the past few years, it may be a tad insensitive to the families of those suffering as a result of the islamic terrorist acts to describe it as such.
the Latest Posts panel did catch my eye: "Sir David Arness Now An Islamic Terrorist..."
I did notice that unfortunate cut off point of the thread title jno.
Hazi - I am not in the habit of tailoring the expression of my views because of a fear that persons may or may not take offence - that is wokism.

If anyone on here has suffered as a result of extremist action, and is offended by anything I have said, I will be delighted to convey my sincere apologies to them.

Wondering in abstract maybes is the death of free speech, I have no intention of indulging in it.
