We have to be carefull Webbo. Saying what we know and believe is subject to scrutiny by weekend zealots on the control panel. Most with a fragment of logic could discern the likely reason for the atrocity, but that is no longer allowed. We have to wait for the feathering down of rightful outrage and contempt for the savages and parasites in case it "Upsets" us.

I read that the driver became "nervous" about the way the passenger was behaving and pulled into the hospital instead of going to the Cathedral

well if the driver has no involvement in the incident, well done him and he may have saved several more lives or injuries. Anything more about what this numpty was carrying as to an explosive...can't see it being LPG, short of carrying a cylinder into the car, opening it and causing a serious spark.
