What are you talking about Gully?

Once Johnson is ousted the Tories will hopefully build back with traditional tory values not weak liberal green ones. And that my old son will see Labour in the Wilderness for certainly the short to medium term. Night even see them become less relevant than the Lib Dems. Hopefully that will happen and then a decent opposition Party can form.

//for most of the last 18 months support for the PM and the Government has been pretty high//

I can't say I noticed that around here from anyone who didn't vote Conservative - ever.
Let's hope this is the start of the end of Boris.
....And the start of the slippery slope for the Cons to become the opposition Party at the next G/E.
Boris will have to be physically ejected. :-)
I am sure Boris thought
" I will fwobble my flaxen locks

Where is TGT today ?.. he has plenty of time to lick his wounds.
Gully, I'm still unsure as to why you're so desperate for Boris to get sacked. Him being in power is still the best chance Labour has of winning a general election.
Gully, TTT said he was on a Xmas bash today, ages ago: https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/News/Question1775491.html

And like Moz says Johnson is labours best hope - that is why I keep saying he should go. I've said it enough times you should get it by now.
13.09 Get him out now ....he's done enough damage in the last two years and can do a lot more in the next 2 years.
......I've said it enough times.... you should get it by now....

If Prime Minster followed the rules instead of trying to change them, then Patterson wouldn’t have resigned and this election needn’t have happened.

All self inflicted.
13:28 So you'd rather have a strong Tory PM replace Boris now, than a potentially weaker Labour one in three years, for the sake of the country? That's very noble of you to put the prosperity of the country before your own party's political glory. I respect that opinion.
I suspect Paterson would have gone anyway.
But in different circumstances perhaps.
Now he vows to do some good away from the “cruel” but it has to be said - in his case at any rate - lucrative world of politics
